There is a reason this location has no line, customer service does not exist in this location AT ALL!!
Do they not all follow the same rules, regulations and laws?
Well let me tell you why I say this. I feel I really don't ask for much and being in business for myself I believe in strong customer service. Well the two "ladies" at the Stockton License Bureau actually made me cry yesterday as I had to plea and beg three times to them without success. I had full intentions of being at the License Bureau between 4:00 and 4:15 since they close at 4:30. I needed to renew tags on one vehicle and transfer title on another vehicle. Since we were transferring a title we thought it would be easier if all parties involved were present. I closed my shop an hour early which I absolutely hate to do. But as we were getting in the vehicle a customer pulled up. I explained to her what we were doing and that I would help her with what she needed quickly especially finding out that she drove a ways to come see me and I was thankful that I didn't miss her. She was very understanding. My daughter was to meet us at the license bureau and she was there at 4:00 and explained to the "ladies" what we needed and that I was on the way. By the clock on my cell phone, I walked in at 4:29 but by their clock on the wall it was 4:34 and one of the "ladies" was helping someone. The other one would NOT help me as she said they were closed. Found out later that my daughter even pointed out to them that their clock was fast. NO MATTER, I DID NOT GET ANY SERVICE AND DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO GET FOUR PEOPLE IN THE SAME PLACE AT THE SAME TIME TO TAKE CARE OF THIS KIND OF THING WHEN WE ALL WORK?! Of course, you do.
most hateful group of employees I have ever seen
Would of it hurt anything for one of those "ladies" to of taken less than five to, at the most, ten minutes to help me especially seeing how desperate I was. Oh, by the way I'm driving on expired tags. lol I know there are a lot bigger problems in the world and this seems little but just felt compelled to share. I'm sad. What happened to kindness?! When did kindness get lost?! K I N D N E S S -- isn't that a great word? In my life, I want and hope to be an example of KINDNESS.
I went to get plates for a trailer. There was no line. The lady didn't smile but was not rude. She looked up my property taxes for me and took care of me quickly. We weren't in there for longer than 30 min.
I then returned a week later and still got horrid service, mis information and only left with a renewed tag and was unable to transfer the title. I then called the state office to inquire as to why I have to pay taxes on over $5500 when the car was free and was told that I could have done a notarized bill of sale for $1. Stacy at the Stockton location not only neglected to give me this option but also advised me that they would under no circumstances accept the bill of sale that that is a legal process.
They will never see my face AGAIN, EVER!
